He has blended and mixed several materials by connecting the past to the future; all his fabrics create a contrast featuring luxurious harmonies. He has used laminated fabrics and unique silks that have incorporated devoré printings, thus creating a metal concept. Pleated copper glow a long with gold and platinum, illuminate the classic fabrics such as blue velvet, chocolate and baby pink who have received unique tailored cuts inspired by men’s clothing creating suits and particular double-breasted jackets. Mario Orfei’s collection also uses a geometric mesh along with some Prince of Wales fabric, faux leather and exclusive Alpaca wool creating an iconic value a long with giving a sophisticated look to trousers, suits, vests and coats. Further more, it is clear that he has focused on outerwear and to the oversized coats with detailed eco friendly fur collars, these belonged to a past which today he tries to surprisingly make it even more contemporary. The flowing robes, are enriched with precious details such as custom buttons artisanally-made using silver and as well fine Murano glass.
