The new Giorgia Arcidiacono FW19_20 collection with a bohemian flavour is a hymn to unconventionality, through the meeting of cultures and colours that are combined, creating a new conception of art.
The creations are designed for timeless "Goddesses", able to colour the reality of bright shades, without seasons and cultural limitations. The dress becomes the means to dream and play, entering an ethereal and mystical dimension.
The expressive freedom is translated into the combination of medieval style clothes, contaminated by the exotic flavours of the East to arrive to the unmistakable Parisienne elegance.
The soft and delicate silhouettes embrace the body as if to redraw its contours.
The collective imagination can only dwell the refinement of the elegant and bold shapes that are declined among the different outfits. The retro-style dresses with balloon shoulders play with the modernity of denim, made with wide cuts. The fluidity of the forms alternates with the rigidity and transparency leaves room for imagination with a disarming elegance.
The precious fabrics of Mohaire wool and silk, presented with bright colours are skilfully combined with jersey with optical prints and hand-washed denim that gives greater concreteness to the weights and is tinged with artistic nuances, as if it was an artist's canvas, which reflects the ripples of sunlight in the depths of the sea.
The "Marrakech" print refers to the land of a thousand colours, creating a magical painting with burning nuances that contrast with the deep blue of the sky. The geometric flowers, inspired by the Moorish decorations, make the collection more fairytale and seductive at the same time.
The colour palette plays with nuances and fabrics in a cultures dance declined from an intense blue of the sea to the blue of the sky, to the pink / fuchsia of the sandy beaches, to the red of the burning sunsets, to the warm colours of the dunes of the desert and candid white.
