While the magic of magicians is always looking for sorcery, the magic of London Fashion Week is taking the city stage much more impetuously and in a phantasmagoric splendour, seen from the different angles and aesthetics of a world that is rapidly changing.

Digital experiences are taking us to new dimensions, using a wealth of visualization data to capture new emotions.

The contemporary culture serves as a reflection of our social behaviour that explores the nature and purposes of designs ready to hit the main streets and the red carpets across 5 continents.

It is the moment of cutting-edge, the most exciting and emotional development of fashion with iconic and sometimes ironic installations and fashion shows in a creative explosion that amazes and provokes the visitor’s eye.

The importance of colours and materials surfaces in a new light and are a source of inspirational for these designers in their conceptual works.

Evolve and pursue innovation is the keyword added to the power of sound and music to increasingly boost energy full sensations and vibes on this season’s catwalks.

After scoping around for a drink at the Truman Brewery, which offers cocktails mixed by a robot that only uses radio frequency, I made a stop at the Natural History Museum in South Kensington with the ultimate fashion experience on a Silk Road of the surreal world of Designer Sheguang Hu, made out of metaphysical creatures suspended between the sky and the ground in an allure of power and ecstasy where the richness and luxury of print, paintings, embroideries and weaves crafted by skilled hands like pure precious and perfect details are of incomparable beauty.  The Spring-Summer collection of Paul Costelloe presented at the Waldorf Astoria is a romantic and poetic collection of duster coats and important gowns, created with super-light summer wool fabric in pastel colours.

An evening at the Lancaster Room at Somerset House hosted the elegant collection of Turkish Designer Zeynep Kartal. An array of haute couture eveningwear characterized by a refined and sober silhouette of body-shaping contours, imprinted cherry red for many pieces for the upcoming colour trend in the following season. A buffet and wonderful glass of champagne gave me the chance to congratulate the Designer and her team that has always been very cooperative.

At the Palladium theatre, the interesting show by Joshua Kane in a retrospective with leading performance by martial arts dancing artists in a Capoeira dance with Katana symbolically demonstrating the prevalence and superiority of this collection over the public in general challenging it and desiring to reach superlative heights.

Ecological and eco-sustainable without controversies related to protecting coral reefs (these large living structures) was the presentation of the couture designs by Deborah Milner who was applauded by an Andy Warhol jet set in Belgravia (one of the most exclusive areas of London). Textiles in silk print were admired by Dame Zandra Rhodes at the Rocky Star show at the Fashion Scout. Also worthy of admiration were the fairy tale and elf gowns by Pam Hogg rich of tulle and transparent plastic. The 70s were proposed by Essex Girls in a presentation in Soho created in a club with evanescent pink, sweets, and candies while a remarkable collection by Jasper Conran represents English style and bon ton.

Many foreign designers participated in this completely English context, like the launch of the new showroom in London of Emporio Armani, Fiorucci, Versus, Bruce Oldfield and many others......
