New installation for the Galleria del Costume, with paintings and sculptures from the collection of the Gallery of Modern Art combined with clothes and fashion accessories: with the name "Tracce 2018", the new structure, curated by Caterina Chiarelli and Simonella Condemi, is It was inaugurated with great success in Florence.
Among the many marvels gathered in this new setting, in the room 2, the sumptuous white dress with a pearly tone that Capucci realized, in '86, as a Vestale costume for Bellini's Norma, stands out.
Then there is a section dedicated to travel, with clothes and accessories taken from the collections of the Museum of Fashion and Costume, suitable to be worn or stored in the suitcase during the trip. These are hats, scarves, glasses, gloves, or more singular objects, such as a container for folding hangers, or an umbrella case; but also bags, of every shape and for every purpose, ranging from the beauty case to the linen rack by James Collard Vickery, to the suitcase of the early twentieth century.
