Will be present at Palazzo Pitti until 5 May 2019 an exhibition of dresses and accessories of various kinds which are inspired by the animal world. Precious objects and surprising in which fashion, art and nature relate in a fun way and poetic at the same time. A walk among the creations of contemporary designers that evoke for shapes and colors of the animal world of spiders, swans, fish, lobsters, parrots, flies, api and crocodiles.
'Animalia Fashion', the title of the exhibition will remain open to the public until May 5. In the 20 halls are exposed 57 clothes designed between 2000 and 2018, but also accessories and jewelry that propose a journey in the history of science poetic zoological and engaged: the exhibition also wants to reflect on the problems of the environment and on the animal species in danger.
The director of the Uffizi Galleries, Eike Schmidt, spoke of a "Spectacular shows dedicated to the zoological world" and an exhibition "innovative, never done before".
