Refik Anadol is a media artist and director. Of Turkish origin, he lives in Los Angeles where he realizes his artistic masterpieces and is also teach in the UCLA Department of Design Media Arts.
His "motion art" frees the viewer to immerse himself in an endless trip, without space and time, where material and light merge giving new life to unique and excellent forms and performances.
His works explore the space between digital and physical entities creating a hybrid relationship between architecture and multimedia arts.
It is no coincidence that he is often commissioned to create public works, not only for the amazing of being able to admire his installations, but because often these works are a unique experience to live.
