Paris, la Ville Lumiere, in the heart of Rome

More than 200 guests were invited and enjoyed the wonderful evening entitled “Paris, the Ville Lumiere, in the heart of Rome”.  International jazz music, delicious dark chocolate coated strawberries and beautiful small Eiffel Tower shaped statues made of chocolate, recreated a French atmosphere; all of this took place in th romantic baroque pavilion of Colonna Palace’s Coffe House admirably decorated by artist Francesco Mancini. Important guests such as Paul Husinger, Minister Counsellor for Economic Affairs of the French Embassy, Jerome Salemi, Air France General Manager, Gaetano Castelli  memorable art director of Rai, Prince Ascanio Colonna, Princess Elettra Marconi, actors Beppe Convertini and Graziano Scarabicchi, Frederic Meyer, Atout France Italy General Manager attended the event that was sponsored by Atout France, an institution that promotes French tourism.  The presentation of the  enchanting artistic creation, depicting the Eiffel Tower, mad by the artist Roberto Di Costanzo and donated by him to Catherine Dumas, Vice President of the Paris Region Ile de France, was a highlight of the evening. This is a noble and symbolic gesture that strengthens the twinning between Rome and Paris. Elena Parmegiani, Event Director of the Coffee House of Palazzo Colonna an Barbara Lovato, Press Office and P.R. of Atout France were very pleased with the outcome of the event.
